The Na Turoldu Cave

Basic info

The largest Jurassic limestone cave system in the Czech Republic was created by underground water under the Turold Hill in the Pálava Highlands. The white walls in the corridor and fissure labyrinth of the Na Turoldu Cave are decorated, instead of by stalactites, by unique corrosive shapes similar to coral-reefs and stone foam with a number of holes, cavities and pealike growths as well as clusters of fine calcite crystals.
