CALL FOR THE II° INTERNATIONAL AWARD ALFONSO XII TO THE EXCELLENCE IN THE UNDERGROUND WORLD
CONVOCADO EL II PREMIO INTERNACIONAL ALFONSO XII A LA EXCENCIA EN EL MUNDO SUBTERRÁNEO
La Asociación de Cuevas Turísticas Españolas (ACTE), en colaboración con la International Show Caves Association (ISCA), Asociación de Cuevas Turísticas Iberoamericanas (ACTIBA), Instituto Geológico y Minero de España (IGME), Federación Europea de Espeleología, Federación Española de Espeleología, y Secretaria de Estado de Turismo del Gobierno de España, convoca el II Premio Alfonso XII.
Este Premio tiene un carácter abierto y pretende reconocer los trabajos relacionados con el mundo subterráneo. Entre las diversas candidaturas presentadas en su primera edición, fue concedido al Gobierno de la Cantabria, como reconocimiento al trabajo realizado para la preservación, rehabilitación y recuperación del patrimonio cultural y natural, que llevó en el año 2008 ala Declaración de Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO de las cuevas de la cornisa Cantábrica con arte rupestre.
La entrega del Premio se realizará dentro del I Congreso Iberoamericano y V Congreso Español sobre Cuevas Turísticas, CUEVATUR 2014, que se celebrará entre los días 2 y 4 de octubre de 2014 en Aracena (Huelva).
