"Our world’s caves are places of wonder, mystery and majestic beauty. Show caves around the world are embracing their role in protecting and preserving caves and providing a place for people to learn about these special, natural, cultural and historical resources.

Show caves also play another important nature tourism role of sustainable economic development, providing jobs, and helping the economy of their regions.”

ISCA Member from Slovakia with "a new light"

This was done under a larger project co-financed by the European Regional Development Funds. The project included, except from new stainless handrails, new cables and distribution boxes also new lights, and not only. We wanted to have "something more". So we motivated our photographer Pavol Stanik who supervised intstalling the lights, we engaged a scenographer Jan Ptacin who brought underground his fancy ideas connected with three types of music. And it was a chance that we found a musical composer Peter Machajdik, who made a small piece of music for us, which should open visitors' hearts to the cave environment and atmosphere. LED technology was supplied by ISCA's associated member Alexander Chrapko's Germtec company with his experienced team of cavers and technicians. All these changes were done also thanks to our membership in ISCA, where the author of the concept, Peter Gazik - ISCA Board member, listened and looked around him and then tried to bring the best of the show-cave world to his motherland. You are warmly welcome to visit us.
