"Our world’s caves are places of wonder, mystery and majestic beauty. Show caves around the world are embracing their role in protecting and preserving caves and providing a place for people to learn about these special, natural, cultural and historical resources.

Show caves also play another important nature tourism role of sustainable economic development, providing jobs, and helping the economy of their regions.”

2026 ISCA & NCA Survey now open

The 2026 ISCA & NCA Show Cave Industry Survey is now open, and we warmly invite show cave managers worldwide to take part. Conducted every two years, this survey has become an essential tool for understanding the global show cave industry and demonstrating its economic, educational, and cultural importance.

This fourth edition focuses on data from the year 2025, including visitation, staffing, revenue, seasonality, management models, educational activities, and current challenges. All responses are anonymous, and the survey is designed to be quick and easy to complete.

The results will help strengthen our collective voice when engaging with public authorities and stakeholders, while also providing valuable benchmarking information for participating show caves.

We encourage all show cave operators to participate and share the survey with colleagues. The more responses we receive, the more meaningful and representative the results will be.
