Eisriesenwelt ("World of the Ice Giants") is a natural limestone ice cave located in Werfen, Austria (40km south Salzburg). Eisriesenwelt is the largest ice cave in the world, extending over 42km. Over 200,000 enthusiasts visit Eisriesenwelt every year.
Its halls are decorated with ice formations (columns, towers, waterfalls and glaciers) and temperature ranges at around 0ºC.
Visitors are equipped with lamps while guides explain all the different historical events during the two-hour tour.
